The Problem

Clarus Merchant Services is a global leader in payment processing, with over $8B in credit card transactions processed annually. In 2018, Clarus approached Stafford to rebrand their company from the ground up to accurately represent the world-class service they provide within the FinTech space and articulate the company’s rapid expansion into merchant portfolio acquisition.

The Solution

We set off to engage in in-depth research of the FinTech space and more importantly Clarus's values and mission as a company. We used our findings to develop a strategy that not only served the current business model but could also be used to acquire new partners and portfolios. We developed a highly stylized and sophisticated brand system that included:

With the current processing market evolving into an almost completely digital world, we wanted to visually showcase Clarus as the secure, fast, and clear FinTech company they are.

Stafford concepted and produced both live action and animated videos showcasing the Clarus' Mission and Processing Solutions.

The Clarus Brand Film was created to highlight the mission of Clarus Merchant Services, how it started, and its commitment personal customer service.

The RevNew animated film was created to educate customers on the benefits of revenue neutral processing.
